Winter/Spring 2026 Registration
Rookie Rugby U6, U8 and U10s – touch, Middle School U13 and U15 – tackle, High School Boys – tackle and High School Girls – tackle
Whether your child is brand-new to the sport or already experienced, our program focuses on skill development, teamwork, confidence, and fun in a safe, supportive environment. Our rugby club is proud to be an all-volunteer, community-driven organization. Every coach, team manager, and board member donates their time to create an affordable, supportive, and high-quality experience for every family. This allows us to keep costs low, focus on player development, and build a positive environment where kids can grow both as athletes and individuals. Parents are always welcome to get involved — no rugby experience required!
Why Play Rugby?
Rugby is one of the fastest-growing youth sports in the U.S. — and for good reason. It’s a sport built on respect, teamwork, and athleticism, offering benefits both on and off the field:
– Inclusive for all body types and abilities
– Improves decision-making and communication
– Builds confidence and mental toughness
– Boosts overall athletic development
– Promotes sportsmanship and respect
How Rugby Compliments Other Sports
Rugby helps athletes become stronger, faster, smarter, and more resilient — making it an excellent cross-training sport for many others:
Wrestling
– Enhances body control, balance, and leverage
– Builds grip strength, tackling form, and core stability
– Encourages mental toughness and controlled physical contact
Soccer
– Improves speed, agility, footwork, and field vision
– Increases endurance and teaches strategic positioning
– Helps players read the field and make quick decisions under pressure
Football
– Teaches safe, heads-up tackling techniques used worldwide
– Builds conditioning, strength, and game awareness
– Helps multi-sport athletes develop hand-eye coordination, spacing, and ball-handling skills
Rugby supports athletes year-round by developing total-body strength, stamina, and spatial awareness — making kids more well-rounded and confident in every sport they play.
Why Join Youth Rugby?
– Fun, fast-paced, and engaging for all levels
– No try outs, everyone plays in every game
– Develops teamwork, leadership, and confidence
– Led by certified coaches who prioritize safety
– Great for building friendships and community
Jersey Policy
Rugby jerseys are earned each game, not automatically issued for the season. Players receive their jersey before kickoff based on attendance, effort, and commitment throughout the week. All jerseys are returned immediately after the match so they can be reused and maintained for future games.
This approach teaches responsibility, pride, and respect for the team uniform while helping us keep costs low as an all-volunteer organization.
