Chiefs!

Welcome back and welcome to the new members of our Chiefs Rugby Family as we start preparing for the 2024 Spring Season!

Any new players interested in starting rugby are invited to attend training for FREE for the first 2 weeks until they decide whether rugby is for them.  After that, they will need to register with the club and USA Rugby.

We are hoping to have a more normal spring season this year, with teams rebuilding after the pandemic.

Indoor winter training schedule starting January 7 is slightly less in hours to previous years, with training only being 2 days a week on a Sunday (except for Super Bowl Sunday) until we go outside mid-March.

Outdoor training will be twice a week for HS/MS teams.

Sunday Indoor practice will be at: Go For It Sports Dome, Yorkville IL (until mid March)

Thursday Indoor practice will be at: Boulder Hill Elementary, 163 Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery IL (until mid March)

All outoor practices will be at: Go For It Sports Dome, Yorkville IL (after mid March)

*Rookie Rugby will start practice once we go outside starting mid March 2024

Club registration will include all indoor/outdoor training sessions, match fees and shorts. 

All players must be registered with USA Rugby to practice/play.  This is an additional cost on top of club dues. USA Rugby has switched to a new platform, Rugby Xplorer. To register with USA Rugby go to https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au  You can watch a short tutorial of how to register here  If you are unsure, please ask.

Please remember to sign up for the emails and the text message service for your team.  When bad weather comes quick, text is our way of canceling training at short notice.  You can sign up here.
